Stranded – Photographs in Williamson Square
Walking through Williamson Square this week, you can’t help but notice the amazing photographs under the banner ‘Stranded’ which explore the poignant stories and lives of retired Merchant and Royal Navy seamen and Wrens who served in the Battle of the Atlantic operations during the second world war. The photographs are really striking and I recognised a few faces passing through. The photographs were taken by the Blind Spot Collective, who are Tony Mallon, Gawaine Meechan, Rachel Wegh, Karen Woodfinden, Brian Scott and John Early.
