As you can see the building is in a poor state of repair but there is a team of volunteers who are hoping to do some restoration work on the building. I found this on youtube the other day, it’s a scene from the 1950’s Ealing film ‘The Magnet’ and features a train journey on the overhead railway with Liverpool Docks in the background.
